yellow spot...

Kiki hasn't let my husband or I hold her in about a week and she won't let us clean her eyes or nose. Today she finally let me pick her up but, it was struggle. When I got to cleaning her nose I noticed a yellow spot on her nose. It find of looked crusty but, I am not sure if it was just dry skin. Kiki has tested positive for the corona virus but, the FIP results were inconclusive. Has any else had this sort of spot on their kitty's nose. I am worried that it might be judiance (sp?) but, I am not sure. I called the vet and he told me to keep an eye on her and then call back tomorrow.

Is only the spot on her nose yellow? My understanding of jaundice is that it would be yellow skin all over the body. It sounds like she may have injured her nose. Is she an indoor kitty?
