I've found that once frostbite has actually killed the tissue, there's not too much you can do other than get them to a vet and get some antibiotics going to prevent infection.

If she's going to the vet on Wednesday, I'd just keep an eye on her and make sure the area around the part that's falling off doesn't look inflamed or infected or start bleeding. If you can, also make sure she's not rubbing it or scratching at it.

Cotton just lost one of his last frostbite scabs a month or so ago and the vet said that by that time if there's no infection, they have no feeling in those parts and usually don't even notice the loss.

Maybe someone else has some suggestions, though.

Once the cells are dead, they are dead. Its just like gangrene and she does need to be seen because once the cells are dead it can spread and spread rapidly, not just to the area that you see black now.

That little sweet girl needs to be helped to find warmth so she doesnt get frostbitten. I dont know your situation, if she is a feral or what, but she needs to have some shelter that she can rely on.

Oh my goodness shes so lucky.
Can you imagine if you had not rescued her? I hope it goes well for her. Im sorry shes losing her ears. You may want to look into a feline specialist in your area.

Awww...poor little darling. She's had a rough time of it, hasn't she. Flower's pretty lucky to have found you.

I hope you will forgive the (slight) thread hijack, but Ms. Freya, I just read your cats' stories and was really touched.

Angelic00, good luck with your new friend; I hope she doesn't suffer any further injury from the frostbite. It sounds as if she was very lucky to find you!

Poor honey! I don't have anything useful too contribute, but she doesn't look too pleased about the earless mug shot...

Nice calico... Hope the ears heal up well.

We have had cats at the shelter who have lost parts or most all of their ear to frost bite. Usually it is cats that are not used to being outside & are put out in the cold. They have been fine without them. They may look a little funny, but it just adds to their charm.

My Max lost half of his right ear to accidental frostbite as a thrill-seeking kitten, and he's completely fine; in fact, I think it gives him more character.

What a darling!
That actually looks like a nice, clean 'break' from her pic - chances are she's glad that 'thing' stuck to the end of her ear is gone.

She is a pretty little thing, isn't she.

Thank you. They might be a bit rough around the edges, but I wouldn't trade my busted cats for anything.
