There's a local restaurant store in my town. No glitz or glammer about their products, but they are of comparable quality for 1/3 the price (compared to this site). No display shelves - their stock is on warehouse type shelves. They are only open Monday thru Friday 9-5 and they don't bother with a website. I went up there to buy my DH a beer pitcher for Christmas and they told me they only sell the glass ones by the case. That's the drawback for some of their items. But I've gotten huge stainless steel stockpots for under $100, stainless steel cookie sheets for under $10, and I did get a plastic beer pitcher for $5. And the stuff will last forever (well, maybe not the beer pitcher).Originally Posted by kara_leigh

I would never had found this store cause I had no idea of where to look. My chef friend in Denver actually found it for me (she knows where to look). These types of stores will be in buildings that look like warehouse fronts. But if you do some digging and find one in your area, its definitely worth the trip if you love kitchen gadgets. The name of my local store is Spatula Central.
