While I appreciate Walmart's and Giant's prices of .44-.46 cents a can for Friskies, I really wonder who they use as a supplier.

I have three cats who EASILY consume 6 cans a day of friskies turkey and cheese [I like the low ash of 2.0]. This shredded flavor of food does not come in the 13 oz. can. Besides the price, I feel strange getting THIRTY cans of food at a time only to creep back 5 days later for more. I would love to buy in bulk, but online places are not as cheap as walmart and sam club's bulk is a large purchase, but not that flavor, and not as reasonably priced.

I am not so worried about their dry food of Purina Pro Plan Urinary tract health because I must purchase that from Petco/Petsmart.

Just wondering...

Has anyone else?

Around this tax time, I find it funny that in the olden days people could claim their pets as dependents. Their budget is pricey but No Where near my food expense.

Trust me, they don't care HOW much you buy at one time, lol! I've been known to buy three weeks to a month's worth at one time.....at eight cans per day....that's 56 cans per week.....112 cans for two weeks....you get the picture, methinks! Seriously though, that's what its there for, to be sold!

Well I know in Canada, Walmart get's about 60% of all their items (basically everything except electronics and automotive) delivered to them by my old job, Wallace & Carey Inc. But since W&C is completely Canadian, I'm not sure who does it in the States.
