It's raining pinecones!!

I'm at work in our sattelite office today; which is in an old house. I sit next to a window and there is a really tall old pine tree just outside the window. In my peripheral vision I keep seeing these small pinecones dropping. They can't be any bigger than a grape; but they sure are all over the place!

It's amusing me watching them come down so fast. I may have to find a broom and sweep them off the walk soon. Can't have patients slipping on them!!

That must be a strange sight! We have a lot of pine trees in our yard, but none with cones that small.
