Too funny not to share

No, we did not get a video of it. Hubby knows I would kill him for recording me

I was laying on the couch reading yesterday and Kizzy was curled up with me. I ended up having a nap and my hubby came into the room.

He looked at me, and asked me if I was awake. No response. He laughed and left.

When I got up, he asked me if I remembered him asking if I was awake. I had no recolection of that at all, so obviously I was sleeping. He busted a gut laughing .

Apparantly while I was laying there sleeping, I was petting Kizzy. Not just the odd pet, but stroking his fur from head to butt like I do awake. Only I was sound asleep.

Has anyone else ever been caught doing this?

I actually wouldn't have minded him recording me in this case, so I could have seen myself LOL.

LOL That's funny! Sounds like something I would do. I have to take Ambien to sleep, and it makes me do weird things that I don't remember the next day.

Too bad he didn't record you, that would have been great to see!

I pet Flower in my sleep all the time! She has decided that my 4am potty break is also petting time for her. So I have just gotten used to petting her and falling asleep. Eric says even after I am asleep I pet her untill she walks away.

I would be funny to see your self doing it!

I've never even heard of anyone doing that! Of course, my girls aren't lap kitties, so I never get the opportunity.

Me neither... till hubby laughed at me about it

I reckon I probably do it in my sleep. My hands are like automatic kitty patters!

I know I do that when Arwen is on my lap stretched out across my legs I'm normally lying on the bed watching tv, and when my eyes start to close I'm (kind of) aware that I'm stroking Arwen from head to butt....you have to admit, it's also calming when you do that Plus kitty gets a nice petting at the same time!
