I'm gonna go out and buy a card for Debby and sign it from me and my babies. I'll actually buy two I think, because I don't think our signatures will all fit on one. Whoever wants to participate is more than welcome to.

The only thing I need to know is.. who would like me to send them the card once I'm finished with it?

Can you guys sign it for me?

It would not be very practical to send it to me...

Thanks

Tania and Nunny, why don't you PM what you want someone to write, or do you just want to have someone sign your name?

There's a thread called We love you Debby! that is going to be printed and sent to her, what if it's printed and put in the card???

THat way she doesn't get too much of the same thing. ya know??

I personally think the print-out of the thread and the card should be two different things. Teresa should be able to print-out the thread in a day or two and get it off to Debby. Depending upon how many people end up signing up here, it might be weeks before Debby receives this card! IMO.....

SO.... for the card, I'm PMing Tamme my address. Right?

Another way I've seen cards handled on Boards is that someone with a PO Box publishes their address in a thread. Then everyone sends cards to that PO Box by a certain date. Then the person who owns the box forwards the cards to the recipient. Just a suggestion for this or future purposes.

Just my opinion, but passing the card around thru the mail is really not a good idea. That idea has crashed and burned around here one too many times. ( the cat books are a great example here)

I think its much better if everyone sends their own cards to one person, and than that person should forward to Debby. Also, it would literally be weeks before she ever got the card, and I think the important thing is to get it to her rather timely since she really needs it right now for her spirits.

Just my thoughts based on past history w/ this sort of thing around here.

That's a good idea too Daniela! But all of us sending cards could take a long while since ie: the penpal thing. Not everybody can get out and mail something right now to get to that one P.O. Box within a week or two, ya know?

I thought printing out the thread and putting it in the card would be a very timely idea and everybody would get their thoughts and individualism in it.

Just my IMO

Okay, well I bought two cards, lol. Should I just sign them from me and send them? Or.. if you guys want I can relay a message from you all. Don't pm me for that though, just email me what you want me to say?

I have just mailed her a card from me, so my name doesn't have to go on this one - it will be easier with less names!
