Nope, I am a believer. My grandma was one who knew events that were going to happen before they did, I witnessed this many times .She has visited my kids since she has died they never met her but they knew it was her. I have had my dad visit and I have seen cats I have been very close to come to comfort me.

No. I'm a non-believer.

I am one of those people who has to see something herself, in order to believe it. So stories about paranormal stuffs don't really affect me in any way.

I'm a big scaredy cat () so scary movies really freak me out, especially if they are more "mentally" scary as opposed to slasher films. I try to avoid watching them as much as possible and never ever watch them by myself
I LOVE scary movies.... especially pyschological thrillers
I have yet to meet a movie or book that has given me the creeps.

Well that would be disturbing!

I usually don't freak out, but the recent post about a treadmill turning itself on...had that happened to me, I would have probably packed a bag, the cats, and spent the night somewhere else.

I knew I was going to be in the minority.

Random things that aren't really random happen to me all the time. I think there is a word for it, but that escapes me at the moment. Seems to come in three's.

It depends. I have been reading paranormal stories since I was eight, so I'm sort of used to it. Ironically, right now I am collecting all of the UFO reports of Saskatchewan that I can find. Only a few stories have really freaked me out. However, most ghost stories scare me. For those who have been on the Shadowlands site, this story gives me the willies. Giant faces on the wall, babies with water on their brains, gnomes and imps...
Maybe I shouldn't be reading this before bedtime.

My BF doesn't believe in ghosts, so he thinks I'm nuts when I tell him my mother frequently "visits" me. I smell her favorite perfume, the curtains ruffle when the windows are closed and the lights go off and on on their own.
I think it's kind of cool!

I love it, but i won't watch anything such as "Most haunted" when i'm on my own
That's me, too. I find the paranormal absolutely fascinating; my favorite place to walk is the cemetery across the street from my house. Sometimes I think I would love to be in touch with 'the other side', but the thought of it actually happening frightens me.

I get scared more by psychological thrillers too, and sometimes can't handle them. I love science fiction/fantasy though, it's my favourite genre, although when it comes to real life I'm fairly skeptical, but open minded.

I love that one! Dave's story helped me come to terms with what I was dealing with in my home - and made me realize that, hey - it could have been worse.

He has a book, for those that are more religious/spiritual that some should consider reading. There should be a link to it on Shadowlands. In it there are some basic tips on protecting one's self - important, especially for those who are would be ghost hunters.

There are some other weird stories to be found, though some are told on the forums and through several threads/posts. Makes me wonder what happened to a few of the people...
