Brooke (my long haired canine beauty) brings leaves in on her tail everytime she comes in from outside. It stopped the last few weeks because of the snow but it all melted in the last 2 days so she now always looks like a christmas tree, coming in all decorated. It's not a big deal...picking up a few dead leaves is nothing.
But, for some reason, today Missy (my quiet kitty) finally noticed one and it just drove her crazy! I have NEVER seen her play like this! She batted and chased it all over the hard wood floor, arched her back trying to look "threatening", crouching down and pouncing on it! She was like a kitten! OMG, I wish I had a digital video camera so you all could see!! It was priceless!
You have to know Missy. She is the low one on the totem pole and usually eats last (unless Little One is in a good mood and shares with her). She normally sits in the shadows and I give her lovings when I can, but she usually just keeps to herself. She actually got Morris (our new "handicapped" kitty) involved in the play at the end. The rest of the cats were napping and they may have opened an eye, but I'm not sure. I just thought it was too cute!!
