Did you put posters on your bedroom walls when you were young?

You think so? I see him on The Smoking Gun programs, and I think he's not looking too good. Of course that might be because I think he's utterly wasted all the time.

He's Leif, of course he's always wasted :p

He's not the type that I'd go for, but comparatively speaking, he still looks good and young, he's aged well, as opposed to the craggy aging that has taken place with so many of his contemporaries.
Although, the other two at least still have their nice hair, where, oh where did Leif's pretty blond curls go?

I had posters EVERYWHERE of The Moffatts. I saw them like 20 times, met them about 5 times and once I even got my "fan mail" put in Teen Beat magazine.

so glad I'm not alone! I used to have my room plastered in posters so you couldn't see the real wallpaper. I was a huge 80's teenybopper
and had Duran Duran, Aha, Cyndi Lauper, Madonna, Police, OMG I can't remember beacuse there were so many!

Yes. My favorite was a life-sized poster of Mark Spitz. I hung socks over his eyes when I undressed.

I remember buying Tiger Beat every month for all the new Osmond picture and then it was Shaun Cassidy. I'd get every magazine I could afford just for the posters!

Of course I did! Mainly of this fella (I actually had some of these clippings, despite how much I disliked those glasses!):

I'm still in love, I confess!

Wait a minute! Didn't Shaun Cassidy die?

I can't believe no one mentioned BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN! I was in my early 20's when he made his comeback in the early 80's - and I found every poster I could find of him. Paid scalpers dearly to see a couple of his concerts, too.

Gosh....the only posters I had in my room were "blacklight" posters.

What?!
David Cassidy not sexy?!
Bestill my beating heart!

Admittedly, he's not the heartthrob he once was.
But he still ain't too bad for a man that's almost 60 years old. I'd let him eat crackers in my bed any ole day!

I remember those! I used to have one of those "hippie" ones, with psychodelic peace symbols & flowers & birds.

No, Shaun is alive and well, and is an exec producer on a lot of current TV shows.
Maybe you are thinking of Andy Gibb?

I think he's gross

As for aging well, Jon Bon Jovi is one who looks better every year

Thanks, Arlyn, for clearing that up. I remembered Andy had died, but I thought Shaun did also.

I told my 10-year-old son, who discovered "Hardy Boys Mysteries" on Netflix that Shaun was dead and it broke his heart. Oops!

My room was absolutely plastered in pictures from Metal Edge magazine and all sorts of posters of just about everyone (insert hair/metal bands here). There wasn't an inch of wall showing anywhere! They kind of followed me the first time I moved out in my 20's - my bf at the time had them all over his room too, so we had a huge collection between the two of us.

Nowadays for some reason, I've got relatively naked walls.

They were the rage of the 70's!
They were usual made of neon paint on black velvet and they glowed when you turned on a blacklight. I had an awesome one of a tiger and he looked like he was jumping off the wall when you turned the blacklight on.
And of course...the peace sign and psychodelic flowers, birds, designs, etc. were on my wall too!

Yup.

Mostly KISS posters, but some NKOTB
, posters of the Grand Canyon that I got from a national geographic mag (I still want to go see it...sometime in my life), pics of horses, unicorns/fairies.

I still have some posters
but we get them mounted now. (they aren't musical, they are more decor now) Hubby has a couple nice dragon posters, and when we finally finish the rec room there will be more "fantasy" oriented posters. My kitty poster made it into my daughters room.

For the most part tho, I've graduated to statues.

Oops indeed! I hope you cleared it up for him!
