I am posting this in memory of a kitten that passed away overnight at the shelter here.
We had gotten in the group of 3 tuxedo kittens 2 days ago, all with URI's. I checked on them last night as I left, and all was fine, but beginning my shift this morning, I found the one little male passed away, curled under his brother and sister, had given in to his symptoms.
I hope you made it peacefully over the bridge, little tuxie, and know that your siblings are safe and in good hands. We did all that we could for you, and I am at least thankful you passed knowing what it's like to have a full belly, lots of cuddles, and love, and hoping you've realized that not all humans are as horrible as the ones who abandoned you in the freezing cold on the shelter doorstep.
