Mamma kitty is here with five 1-day-old kittens. Oh my gosh, they are too cute. Mamma hides behind the potty and meows but has not hissed or swatted. She just seems a bit nervous. As she settles in, we'll see.

She's used the potty already and the kits seem fine. They all rode home in the same carrier and I didn't hear any fussing at all. I set them up in the crate "suite" and so far, so good.

That's great!!! Is she going to be spayed and adopted? That would be so nice for her. It is amazing how many cats are pregnant this time of the year. I am caring for a feral that comes to my porch to eat every night, I am certain she is a female and had every intention to trap her this month because I believed there was no chance of kittens being abandoned. Now I am not sure what to do. I would feel horrible if I trapped her and left a litter of kittens to defend themselves while she was recuperating.

I'll bet it will be hard to give up those kittens, they are probably so cute!

Thank you so much for taking those kitties in!

And congratulations! The kittens sound adorable, and momma sounds like a gorgeous gal, she'll settle in time!

Good luck!!

She is settling in but she has a URI, so she's not feeling good. The kittens are soooo tiny - their cords are still attached! I have no idea of their background at all but she is definitely not feral. She does not like it when I have to give her her meidcine but she also does not fight me.

She mainly just lets them nurse and only gets up to eat or use the potty. Hopefully, she will fell better soon. As soon as the kits are 2 pounds each, they and mommy will be fixed and adopted.
