Hi all. I posted a few days ago about my two positive FeLV+ cats and my one negative cat. The older of the two FeLV+ cats is exhibiting "clinical" signs (as my vet says) while the other one is not. I was told by a lot of people after getting the diagnosis that we should consider getting all the cats on Interferon. When I asked my vet about this, she said that the vet practice hasn't seen much success with this drug and doesn't really recommend it. Any thoughts on this? I've got my cats on Vetri-DMG liquid (which I picked up at my local pet store) with every meal and I am waiting to get Ester-C to add to their diet.

I know of one member here, KittKat, I believe, who uses Interferon for her FIV+ cats. You can try sending her a PM.

Not surprising to me...this is the Vet who recommended euthanasia, after all.

Again, the experts on the latest treatments for FeLV are to be found in the specialized online support groups I previously suggested to you.
