Tapeworm: Profender x Drontal

I found this comparison chart interesting... It seems that Profender is pretty good, and of course it helps that it is topical... No I wish I had given Lucky Profender instead of drontal... Oh well!

I don't recall hearing of Profender prior to you mentioning it. Interesting - what I wonder - is can it safely be used with a topical flea preventative? They are normally applied in the same place. I've got to ask my vet about it - using Profender on the farm kitties would be much easier than trying to shove several ccs of Strongid down their throats, considering several aren't quite "pets".

I know!!! Much easier!!!
Both of my kitties are on Revolution, which is of course topical... As long as there is no broken skin, the vet said it is ok.
God - it was sooooo great having this option - Bugsy became Bugsy Malone (minus the guns + claws) at the vets when they tried to give him the pills!

Profender is very popular over here, and those I know that have used it are happy with the results.
