Well Bubba has been doing amazingly well since his surgery 3 weeks ago. He had a tumor in his colon removed, which turned out to be cancerous. He gained 12oz in 3 weeks, which we're thrilled about.
He had his first chemo treatment today. He's been home for about 3 hours and he's eaten a lot, played, pooped, you name it! He hasn't been still at all. He's usually a pretty laid back cat, but he's been mr busy body. Not what I expected, but I'll take it!
The only thing that concerns me is that he's been drinking a lot of water since he's been home. Could chemo affect his kidneys that fast? Or could he just be nervous, b/c he was at the vet hospital ALL day?
I took tomorrow off to keep an eye on him, so if it continues, I'll give them a call.
