I posted in the Behavior section about Milo's sudden aggression towards Teddy. I thought I'd bring into this forum with an update.

This is the other thread:

Teddy must have got outside yesterday. I noticed little paw prints in the snow yesterday and thought it was a raccoon. Today I followed them to the basement window where I found it was broken. The glass wasn't jagged, but there was a wide enough gap for Teddy to have gotten out. It looks like he ran around and then went back inside the basement before I got home. (Teddy loves the snow. I sometimes bring him out on a leash for no more than 5 minutes after a storm and he plays around in it.)

If Milo's aggression towards Teddy is based on something wrong with Teddy, what signs should I look for? Teddy is up to date on all his shots. I gave him a bath last night and I didn't notice any cuts or sore spots. I double checked today and found no sensitive areas. His gums are normal and he is eating and drinking normally. He's running around and playing normally as well. His eyes, ears, and nose is clear.... yet Milo is still hissing at him. The vet says just to keep an eye on them and if either produce any symptoms of anything to bring them in..... I just want to see what anyone else's opinion was.

I just can't help but worry myself when something is amiss with my babies.

maybe Teddy still smells 'wrong'? you might try putting vanilla extract on their chins, back of the neck, & base of the tail - just to get them both smelling the same again.

I thought the same thing about the smells. He may have been going on adventures outside and bringing back "different" and "strange" smells that may have caused the sudden aggression from Milo. The vanilla trick is a good idea. I use that when one of mine goes to the vet.

He's been sneaking out to play.
Hope everyone settles down soon.
