Nefertiti is curled up on my knee. She spent last night in her bedroom (the bathroom)! I made it up with blanket, bed, tray, food and water. I have brought her in the lounge with me and she is curled up on my knee. She doesn't seem keen on the kitten food im giving her she had about a mouthful or too whitch is not enough for a growing girl! I think it also made her runny. I brought home some cooked chicken and shes happily eaten 5-7 pieces. Not a great deal but I am quite pleased with her as its more shes eaten yet. Caspian my boy keeps hissing at her now hes noticed she doesnt want to be played with or be eaten . She is very tiny and so special. I gave her a cuddle earlier and for a very tiny second I heard a little purr, it was very short but she is getting there ! I am so proud of her ! Thanks for all your advice!! Queen Nefertiti is going to the vets tomoro (I'm hoping this won't give her stress too much again), she is going to get checked up and I think she needs a wormer.
That's great news! It sounds like she was just shy at first, not feral or anything like that. My cats love both Chicken Soup for the Kitten Lover's Soul and Wellness for taste. I currently feed Wellness but it wasn't out when Seti was a kitten and we had a lot of luck with the other. Her runny stool may be a result of worms, not necessarily the food but who knows!
