Lafayette, Louisiana Vets

I was wondering if there are anyone on this forum from Lafayette, Louisiana that can recommend a good vet to go to. I've been having trouble finding one as good as AVS in Baton Rouge.

Recently, I had a slight emergency and went to Banfield in Petsmart, but my cats hate the environment (too many dog smells I'm guessing). There's a vet I'm looking into but it's 35 minutes from where I live.

If anyone lives in Baton Rouge, I would highly recommend Associated Veterinary Clinic. The prices are extremely reasonable and the staff/DVMs are amazing! I'm tempted to drive the 2 hours to and from for my cat's shots.

(Were you to find a homeopathic/holistic Vet, you might also begin to question the need for yearly "shots"!)
