My husband brought home a sweet little kitten the other night. I have 2 males already that are a little over a year old. They are our children, and sweet happy boys! The new kitten is a male, also. He is about 4 months old (according to the vet) and very sweet and laid back. He is trying to sniff my boys, but they are both acting scared of him, and looking very depressed and pitiful. They are outdoor/indoor (mostly indoor), and they are not even wanting to come inside on this cold day. I don't know what to do!! Will they accept him? I love my cats so much, and I don't want them to be upset. What do yall think? I think I'm posting a picture of the new kitty. His name is Lil Bit.

Well, I just read the sticky about this...sorry. The problem is, I have already introduced them, and my boys are scared of the new baby and don't want to be around him at all. They came inside for a few minutes, and then both wanted out immediately. I am just broken hearted. The new kitten is asleep on the couch right now, and my boys are out in the cold! : ( What do I do now?

In time they will come around accepting the kitten (how cute!). However, you might not be aware that paying attention to the newcomer may cause the feeling of not being wanted by your resident boys. Perhaps you can place the kitten in a place for him to adjust to his new home while take the time for the others?
