I'm going down to Benson, to see the kids and then to Tombstone, to see Katie.

I have fresh batteries, for my good digital camera and, if I can figure out the software, will have new baby pix to post.

Wow, what a day I had yesterday! Went to get my eyes checked and get new glasses. All fine and good, except my eyes must have been super sensitive to the dialating drops they put in. I ended up with a migrane that lasted from about 2:00 in the afternoon until 4:00 in the morning. None of my OTC drugs would touch it. Luckily, I was able to sleep in fits from about 10:00 on. Man, I don't want to do THAT again! (Thank goodness I planned the appointment when I didn't have to go back to work in the afternoon!)

So today I'm getting caught up on the computer, since I couldn't stand to look at it yesterday.

Oh yeah, and we got SNOW last night!!! At least a good 3-4 inches. It isn't supposed to snow in May! Another low is moving in on the heels of this system, so we're supposed to get more rain this afternoon and evening.

Poor Trent....The new neighbors were shaking their welcome mat out on the balcony, and Trent had to protect me.
The sad thing is his little growl is SO pathetic! It sounds more like a little moan than a growl. Ah, my big watch cat!

Aww poor Trent!

It's kind of an overcast, chilly day here. Nothing planned, just taking the day as it comes. Wanted to mow the lawn, but it's too wet out there still from last night's rain.

Sasha is relaxing more and getting used to his new home and kitty companions. Coal is still being a grumpy old man and hissing at him, but the others seem to have accepted him without incident. He is in on the bed sleeping along with Max, Blondie, Midnight and Polly. What a lovebug he is! He is my first experience with a Ragdoll, and wow! what a sweet and lovey kitty he is! I can see why people get addicted to Ragdolls! He loves to be held like a baby and rocked in my arms, but I can only do that for so long, he is quite a heavy baby to rock at 25 lbs!

The weather here is so icky! It looks like it's going to rain and more rain until next weekend. It figures...next weekend I have to work!

Today I don't plan on doing much of anything. I need to clean my bedroom, do a bit of laundry, figure my check book and do the dishes. Of all things that I have to do, I DREAD doing the dishes. It's not like it's hard to do or anything, I just hate em'! Oh well...it needs to be done.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Shell, I would rather do dishes than balance my checkbook! I love my debit card, but it has made balancing the account a nightmare!

When I changed bank a couple years ago they asked if I wanted a debit card. I am SO VERY glad I said no! I know I'd be overdrawing constantly and I just not responisible enough to have one yet. I do kind of dread figuring out the check book...I've neglected to do for over a month & a half! I just "know" there is money in there! Well...God I hope there is anyway!
LOL!

I am fortunate in that I always seem to underestimate how much money I have in my account. I would prefer to err on the side of caution rather than overdraw the account! Right now I am in panic mode about money since I just bought this new computer, it was a great deal and I really needed to replace the old one, but until payday gets here next Thursday, I will be as miserly as possible to make the money last!!! (Translation: I will still buy Royal Canin and Nutro for the cats, but I will be eating Ramen noodles LOL!)

Not going to Benson, after all. Called Mark, to make sure that they were going to be home and found out that they are coming up here. They need some stuff, that is only available at "Babies 'R Us". Therefor, they're coming to my house. I'll miss seing Katey but, its going to save me a lot of gas.

Have to work today - bleck. Yesterday was a bad shift. It was my resident that was in trouble and the R.N. had to care for him - God Forbid! because she couldn't find anybody on the floor. We might all get written up for too many staff being on their breaks at the same time. But I was on my schedueled break so they can't write me up, but they might write the staff up as a whole... *GRR*

So I go back there today, luckily only for 5 hours, then I have my weekend.

Darrell got the job at the other hotel and so he's working both places for two weeks. Hopefully he doesn't start smoking again,. That laser therapy seemed to work wonders for him, it would be a shame to start again now.

ok, hope everyone has a good day.
