A week after I got him at 6 weeks, with a little KMR on his chin

Trying to make my bookshelf pretty, again 6 weeks..

By the way, do you think he will have short hair, and the all that fluffyness was just baby hair?? His fur definitely looks different now..and around his back it's starting to get silkier, there is a little line of silkier lighter colored fur that runs along his back...the rest is still fluffy..The line appeared a few days ago

Pretty sure he'll be medium to long-haired. His fur length looks about the same as my Trent's did when he was that age (well, 8 weeks and older), and he's got the medium to long-hair.

He so cute! Isn't amazing how fast they grow up?

As for his fur, my guess is medium longhair. Both Elijah's and Furrari's fur looked about that length at that age.

How cute! It looks like he always has milk on his chin just from his coloring!

Wickett was the same. I'd call him a long hair but it's more medium and very sleek across his shoulders and down his back. Most of his length is on his belly and legs.

Thanks for the comments!! I love watching him grow and change it's awesome ...This section of the forum is my favorite I come here alll the time to watch people's kitties lol and I will post more later on....
As for his coat, I saw pics of your medium haired kitties on their profiles and to me their furs all seemed longer than Jake's..especially on the head...So his will probably grow? I am surprised because as a younger kitten it used to be more furry than it is now...

My Libbi was super furry like Jake when she was a kitten, but when she grew up she was very smooth and soft around her head and back/sides (almost like a very silky shorthair) but her tummy, legs and tail were SUPER fluffy. MY vet said she was a medium hair.
