Favorite American Idol

Who has been your favorite American Idol? Mine is definitely Carrie Underwood.

I just started watching it 3 years ago and so far my favorite idol is David Cook. But, I have to say I LOVE Chris Daughtry!! . I still can't believe he didn't win that year. But, look at him now!

I'm still a Kelly Clarkson fan, even if her last CD sort of...well...disappointing.

My favorite defiantely has to be Carrie Underwood

Jordin Sparks because she was my favorite from the start and she won.

I don't really care much for country music, but I really like Carrie Underwood. Chris Daughtry sings the type of music I like, but I haven't kept up with him since his season on Idol.

I like Kelly Clarkson - WOW I didn't know that Jordin Sparks won American idol!

I can't vote because I LOVE Kelly and I LOVE Carrie, and I LOVE Chris Daughtry (even if he isn't in the vote...he should have won. What has Taylor Hicks done lately? OK, OK yes, he is doing theater now...). They are all such different musical styles that I can't pick a favorite because it depends on what musical mood I'm in.

But to be honest, the only one I've seen live (and desperately wanted to, begged my husband to get us tickets even if we were in nosebleed seats) is Daughtry. HE wanted to see Bon Jovi, but I was done with them after he did the "Jazz Hands" thing about 5 times. That's NOT rock! So we left after about 5 songs of theirs.

Kelly Clarkson is who I voted for. But I also enjoyed Carrie Underwood and Jordin Sparks. IMO, they were the only ones that actually deserved to win. Most of the other people.. sucked to be honest, lol.
I haven't watched it though, not since Taylor Hicks won. No way.

I love Carrie Underwood and Jordon Sparks.
I also love Cris Daughtry also.
I hated Taylor Hicks.

Kelly Clarkson is by far the best. I love her..I would marry her if I could

I picked Carrie Underwood as I am a big country music fan. I saw her in concert in November and it was the best concert I have ever gone to. She puts on a fantastic show!

I agree. Some of them just.. blow my mind that they won. *cough*Taylor Hicks*cough* ....

I don't vote.... because I am in Canada. But I have voted for this past years Canadian Idol. And he did win too.

I don't either with some of them.

I voted for Chris. A lot. That was the only time I have liked any of the contestants enough to do it.

Yeah, I know. But to each their own, I guess.

I think I've voted a couple of times when it first started.

I voted for David Cook, but I also really like Kelly Clarkson. IMO those two have been by far the most talented.

That was the only year DH and I actually got through when voting. We were voting for Chris and got a message saying "thank you for voting for Catherine".... Chris was voted off that week. Apparently a LOT of people got that message based on the AI forum but nothing was appealed or investigated. Oh well, he's done better than Taylor Hicks anyway. I'm really watching to see if anyone actually votes for him on this thread.

Oh man. Makes you wonder if they rig these things. It wouldn't surprise me.
