It's time to get to know some more amazing cat blogs! I am proud to introduce the following blogs to you - please visit them, enjoy their posts and come back here to vote, vote, vote!

You have four great blogs this month - hope you'll enjoy them all now and in the future too. These are well worth bookmarking

#################################

Willow the Philosopher and Wicket the Fluff

1. Tell us about yourself and the cats in your life:
Willow is a one year old Devon Rex and Wicket is an 9 month Ragdoll. We live in a small town in Victoria, Australia. Willow is very attention seeking and Wicket is very reserved, although he doesn't mind a good cuddle every now and then.
2. When did you start writing your blog and why?

I started writing this blog last year. I wanted to write this blog to share (and record) all the wonderful photos of Willow and Wicket and to make people laugh.

3. Your message to other cat lovers is:
Behind every great cat there has to be a great cat owner.

Kitty Limericks

1. Tell us about yourself and the cats in your life:
I am a late middle-aged cat lover, but at present I have no cats in my life. I work in the deli department of a grocery store. I was drawn to the Cat Blogosphere because of my love of cats and other furry companions and I have sort of adopted them all as my friends.

2. When did you start writing your blog and why?
I started my blog in February of 2007 because I wanted to be part of the fun of the Cat Blogosphere. I was very reluctant at first because I didn't have cats of my own, but I received a lot of encouragement from Heather and Oreo (who unfortuantely seem to have stopped blogging) and I came up with the idea of writing limericks about the cats I was reading about because writing limericks is fairly easy for me and it seemed like a fun way to participate.

3. Your message to other cat lovers is:
Love your kitties dearly and keep them in your heart always. Their time with us can seem much too short, but the memories will keep your heart warm and loving.

Life From A Cat's Perspective

1. Tell us about yourself and the cats in your life:
I am a wife, mother, grandma and take care of a loved one with Alzheimer's. My two cat's are Samantha, a Tuxedo cat and Mr. Tigger, a tabby. Mr. Tigger hasbeen with me 7 years and Samantha 5. Samantha was born on my back porch and Mr. Tigger was given to me by a friend.

2. When did you start writing your blog and why?
I started my blog on April 6, 2007. I did it for fun and to meet some new people. I use the cats as the speakers and I am the Mom!! It is very enjoyable and fun and I have met a lot of wonderful people and cats since I started blogging.

3. Your message to other cat lovers is:

Cats are the greatest pets because they become part of the family! Please take good care of them and love them. They will love you back 100 times more.

Kittens on the Keyboard

1. Tell us about yourself and the cats in your life:

I am a nurse and a writer. I have had cats all my life, beginning with the gift of a pure bred Siamese for my tenth birthday, although all my cats since then have been mixed breed animal shelter adoptions. I currently have (or do they have me - they certainly have my number) two cats - Thor and Loki. They are brothers, adopted from our local animal shelter about three and a half years ago. Thor is the more outgoing of the two and Loki is the love bug who will snuggle while you are watching TV. They are totally devoted to each other, although they've had their fights over the years.

2. When did you start writing your blog and why?

I began blogging about three years ago. In the beginning, it was a way for my son, who had around that time joined the Navy, to get a daily slice of home life. What the kittens were doing, what I was doing, my most recent rants about current events. It wasn't until about a year or so ago when, due to popular demand, I began adding a picture of one or both of the cats to each blog post. (The boys are very popular within our local blogging community.) Then the Thor's Day and Loki Sunday posts evolved out of people wanting more cat pictures and it gives me two days "off" from writing.

3. Your message to other cat lovers is:
Never be ashamed of how much you love and spoil your cats. Cats only accept love from exceptional people. And adopt from shelters, please!

I really enjoy discovering new blogs too. I really do hope I can keep up with running the contest - it is a lot of fun, just very time consuming to arrange. I may have to turn this into a bi-monthly contest, we'll see.

The best way would be to direct them to this thread with this link:
http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/sho....php?p=2533981

Right click on this link and copy it or visit the page and copy the link from your browser window (in the post it shows with ... in the middle so make it look shorter).

You may also want to let them know that they have to register first at http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/register.php
