It begins again tomorrow.
Who plans on watching it this year?

My mom got me 'hooked' on it while she was visiting 2 years ago.
Thanks, mom!

David Cook was all right, but I still think David Archuletta was better.

Good I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks so! I really hope they have a lot good contestants this year!

They had some really good ones last year - like Michael Johns
and Carly Smithson - but they got kicked off.

I will watch it, but I hope they have some better contestants this year. The last couple years have been kind of a let-down for me.

see i think they're missing the boat. There are two definite groups of fans here. I'm in the group that really likes the first few episodes, watching the freaks. Then there are the fans that love the great quality.

But What happens to me if they shorten up the fun stuff at the beginning? I may stop watching. What I do now is dvr every episode. Then towards the end I delete the ones with the singing, and watch the results show because they highlight the performances. Since they're cutting the results show to 30 minutes I won't be able to do that.

I think they should stick with what worked for 8 years.

We love watching American Idol. We are also excited because they had an audition in Salt Lake this time. I wish David A had won, I sure hope he keeps at it. I got his first CD.

It was interesting, that's for sure.

I got a good laugh over that bikini babe, and the fact that Randy & Simon liked her, but Paula & Kara didn't. That girl sure had a mouth on her.
I thought Paula was gonna jump over the table to smack her one, when the bikini babe smarted off to Kara.
I wonder how far she'll go with that mouth, and Randy & Simon rooting for her and Paula & Kara not. I personally didn't like her myself, and think she has an attitude.

I really wanted to hear the story about the blind guy, but missed it.
Wouldn't you know that the phone just HAD to ring at that point, and I had to answer it b/c it was a call I was expecting from a friend of mine who was calling back with some info regarding her vet. I needed to know what she had to say for Maverick's sack.

One girl (the diagram girl) said she sung from "the wrong rectum".
