I took the day off since there is going to be plumbers in and out all day. I am also taking the rest of the week off, hopefully.

Well, since they were here I tricked Rusty into going into her carrier and put Dusty in hers. They told me they wouldn't be going in the attic, so I let the girls out in the bedroom. Well, they did need to go in the attic, but the girls hid under the bed. They were really upset! A little bit ago, Dusty jumped up to give me some loving, so I know she forgave me, but I am such a bad meowmy to put them in the carriers.

Bad meowmy!

Climbing a ladder to get into the attic is quite a challenge but one that Persi had no problem solving when I went up to change the filter for the furnace. Fortunately I saw the little rascal before I climbed down and shut the ladder up.

The girls handled it better today. I didn't put them in the carriers, but they hid under the bed when the men came. Tomorrow they finish up the plumbing in the shower and Thursday they paint. I will be so happy when they are done.

I'm having new flooring installed on Monday and each kitty will be in one of the guest rooms that they won't be working in. I did this before when I had some tilework done and it worked out just fine. My older cat loves to sleep under the bed in the guest bedroom so that's where she goes. The little one has an entire room full of kitty toys/furniture so she stays in there.
