Received My Pen-Pal Letter

I was very surprised yesterday when I received a letter from Israel

Anne sent me a lovely piece of very old pottery - I think this is awesome!!

(shhhh.... I will be giving this to my mother, she is a collector
of old rocks.... she will LOVE this, especially when I tell her where it came from!)

I'm glad you liked it! It's a small piece of ancient Roman pottery that I found on the beach of Cesaria. That's the place where Jesus was tried by Pontius Pilatus, Roman Procurator of Judaea. I thought is was neat that maybe that little piece of clay was there at the time. Glad you liked it
