Sunny seems to go kind of crazy at night. He starts running around. Sometimes he will go really crazy and starting attacking me. He will pounce at me and leap at my face. I think he is just playing, but what do I do? I read the behavior sticky, but does anyone have more ideas?

Morgan, our 9 year old, female black and white dsh has always been a night time "galloper" and has not grown out of it.

She will start to run at high speed, through the house, without anyone chasing her.

She doesn't attack anyone, I think because she has a gentle nature with people.

I suspect it is because she is an indoor cat and has energy to burn off; she seems quite happy when "galloping"

i have 3 cats and some nights are worse than others, most of tiime i can sleep thru it, but theres been times they kept me up all night, the only option i think if its that bad is if they start to act up lock them in a room for the night?

it doesnt bother me n mark anymore...we will be sleeping and wake up to hear 3 cats chasing each other around.....we lay there and laugh

Cats are nocturnal by nature. It sounds to me like you have a well adjusted cat!
