Morning All!!

Sunny again here today, wow 3 in a row that must be some kind of record.

Nothing much planned for today, have a few chores to do around the house. I have to check my fridge but I think I have some veggies that need to be used up so I may make a pot of vegetable soup.

Also I think I will get my stuff all together and get started on my taxes, I should get a good refund this year so might as well get to them early.

The kitties are birdwatching one of the squirrels jumped right over onto the window sill earlier and it just about gave Linus a heart-attack.

today im going to do some more cleaning up, ive been getting bags of all the clothes together i dont wear anymore and taking them to the salvation army, its giving me so much room, it was getting bad...i was having to stack clothes on top of the dressers lol

then im going to take my "little sister" to the mall and spend time with her. shes my best friends daughter and hes the one that mostly takes care of her, she doesnt have much of a mother figure in her life. so its nice when we hang out cause she has someone to talk to about things that she cant talk to her dad about. shes going on 13, i like being a positive influence in her life.

We were supposed to go to a bridal show at the place where we are having the wedding, but almost 8 inches of snow fell last night, and it's still coming down, so we decided against it. The trip is 45 min to an hour one way, and we don't know if the highways are going to be cleared enough.

Instead, my friend is down from Vermont, so we're just gonna go out to brunch probably at Friendly's, and then go to Michael's. They have scrap booking stuff on sale, and I'm making one of my fiance's and mine vacations so I need some stuff.

well since I went on a cleaning spree yesterday and make the apartment spotless...(except for those gross ants in the bathroom....grrr the cinnamon suggestion worked for now but my landlord is getting a call first thing tomorrow AM!!)

and by spotless I mean I CLEANED Out my closet and organized the bills into a filing cabinet...I wished I took a picture of my fiances face when he got home...it was priceless...and I have found..I have ALOT more space in my apartment! Whee!! and the cats are really happy about it.

Anyway since I managed to get everything done yesterday I think today my fiance and I are going to treat ourselves to a movie.

a nice reward for doing alot of work.

It is fairly cold here today after getting quite a bit of snow Friday/Saturday. My hubby has had a cold which seems to be going to his lungs. He left about 15 minutes ago to go to an urgent care center. Hopefully the wait won't be bad since they told me it was under 30 minutes when I called. I think we will be hanging out at home today since hubby is sick. We may run out to a drive thru later to get food. My over the stove microwave broke so I have no fan for my stove or oven right now. Unfortunately it is a pain to cook at home because the smoke alarm keeps getting triggered due to no fan.

I hope everyone has a good day today.

Am going to Wal-Mart, to feed the kitties at DH office, and maybe stopping by somewhere to get a pizza. Oh, and playing the lottery.

We also have another sunny day!! This most likely is the warmest day for the rest of the week however (its about 18F).

When to the mall-shopping for dress shirts for Neil. Stopped at Dicks and I got a $100 pair of Asic's for $45!! Also picked up more bird seed and ice melt for the driveway.

Just "relaxing" now!! I'm making homemade mac and cheese for me for supper and a couple of other recipes so Neil has something for is work lunches this week.

Yesterday Bakker made a new "friend" while watching the birds-a possum-YUCK!!!!
He was like two feet away from the creature-I threw snowballs at it and it didn't even budge. No wonder he wanted to go back outside today-thankfully no possum today.

I am doing a load of laundry and cleaning out the closet so they can replace the plumbing like I was saying my apartment rant post. There isn't as much there as I thought. What was taking all the room was the vacuum and the quilts DH just threw on the floor in there. The rest are in baskets I put in there when we moved in. I need to go through them and see what I can still wear. I found a pair of jeans that are now 2 sizes too big!!! That was a big boost to my ego! I also found DH's skull T-shirt that he thought he had lost in the move. He is very happy!

I need to bag up all the loose clothes to go through and the quilts. At least I will have a nice clean closet I can get into now.

It is monday here, so I am at work. Lucky me. I don't finish til 6pm tonight but at least I have 3 days off this week, woohoo!

My hubby has bronchitis. He has medications now. I made him some soup and he is taking a nap now. Thanks for the thoughts. Hopefully the antibiotics will help soon.

Well, DH and I did go get a TV. A Samsung series 8 LCD - only a 46" since our living room isn't that big. It looks great.

DH is currently enthralled with watching blu-ray on it - he was going on about actually being able to see smudges on the glass in one scene.

I made the mistake of forgetting a dose of midodrine and had a really difficult time in Sam's, though.
