items as toys,safe or dangerous?

Roke found two items that she seems to have fun with, the plastic ring from a milk carton, and the plastic wrapper that once came from a six-pack of soda pop. Should I let her play with these things,or should I throw them away?

My cat and many others like milk cap rings. i think 'cause they scoot across the floor nicely. But, you should not let you cats play unsupervised as they are small enough to ingest.

And if you are talking about the rings off a six pack, I think they might be able to be strangled in the loops?

the milk carton ring should be ok, but i wouldn't let her have the plastic wrapper.

Since getting Lola, I can't let them play with those things. Lola will chew the heck out of milk rings and I worry about her ingesting it. She also chews bottle caps. Instead I get toys that are similar but made tougher. We already had some on hand when we got her.

Cat Crazies
Crazy Spinners

We also have some that look like twisted straws but are much more durable. I'm not sure if they sell those anymore, I didn't find them on the company website.
