I always said I would have a new Porsche some day.
This is an Artic Silver 2007 Boxster S.
Some of you have seen this car in my garage.
With a little help from PhotoShop, here is my car:

BTW, it will be in the 70s today and tomorrow so you
can bet the top will be down!

This kind of thread has been done a couple of times already that I know of, but I'll join in again...

This is my daily driver....2001 dodge durango.....

This used to be my daily driver. 1974 volkswagen beetle. I usually try to drive it once a week. It's been under the weather a bit lately. I'm changing out the fuel system at the moment...almost finished.....

Is the TTA motor the 301 V8 or the 3.8L V6? If he wants the 301, you need to win that argument ... the 3.8 > 301 even on a bad day!

Hubby wanted to get rid of his Monte for awhile, because he doesnt have the time right now to work on it, especially since we decided to do my car first (was supposed to be much quicker swap!). I told him he was only allowed to give it to me, I'd LOVE a Monte SS
If I ever find the right one, we'll both have one. He wants to get a vanity plate that says "TRBOLVR" after the Judas Priest song

My brother has a pretty blue 86 Monte LS he put my old Camaro 305 into because his had the LG4 and I had the L69. It runs low 9's in the 1/8 right now without much modification, needs a little help for the 1/4.

Then the license plate on my Camaro is going to be "ZZZZZZ" so some might thinks its a "Z28" reference, where it's really gonna be due to the LS1 under the hood where a 305 should be
A little bit of a sleeper
I want to supercharge it one day, in the far distant future, like whenever $6000 falls into my lap

I'm late to the thread, but here is mine!

There's just enough room for cats behind the seats, and "cat doors" behind the main doors.

ETA: I forgot to say what it is! It's a 2008 Ford F150

Can't help but notice, though- very few of you have license plates!!
Why is that? Those photos can't be edited... Weirdness...

Edit: Just went back and actually counted, and ok, it's not "very few", but a surprising number don't have them!

On both counts. I'm really hoping to have something "new" before I have to renew my plates next month but it's not looking too hopeful.

Interesting.

I've noticed through 6 pages, there is very few trucks (3-5), little bit more SUV's, a fair amount of cars and a good chunk of us with "play cars".(hubby's does high 11's in the 1/4. We figure if we got rid of the ac, and some other weighty issues, the time would drop to high 10's low 11's. We put a new tranny on it in 2008 cuz we blew the other in 2007....as well as better tires, and some minor mods... we haven't had it at the track since 2006...so who knows what she's doin now

Have people been shying away for the bigger vehicles? I know I probally would have if I had known gas was gonna jump so high
but then alot of it comes down to safety, personal safety. I have always driven larger vehicles. ( a ford explorer, and now my truck). I don't feel as safe in small cars. Even though yes I know they are pretty darn safe, I would much rather been in a truck or SUV if I were to get into an accident.

That said though, I am looking at the Dodge Charger for a next vehicle, because of gas prices/fuel economy on my truck. But it as depends on how it feels. (never driven one, so I would need to test drive it, both in good weather and in our cruddy Canadian winter weather)

I never felt safer than I did in my ex's Freightliner! Talk about feeling invencible! I remember our first trip out (he was a regional driver and I tagged along as secretary/navigator for 6 months) we were up in Flint, MI and it was January. Some girl in a car began to fishtale next to us and ended up stuck under our trailer until the back tires spun her out. I felt like a fork lift driving into the trailer when she hit us. IOW: it barely shook the truck. Fortunately every one was fine (there was also a full ethanol tanker involved) but when it comes to car v. semi... semi always wins!

My first car was an 80's Jeek Cherokee which I loved but the idea of rolling it over always worried me.

Boo to all you gas guzzlers! Just kidding. I have to say that to keep from being jealous. I drive a 95 Taurus. Dont laugh, I had it for all that time and it is still going well. It was my first new car, and by the looks of the auto industry, maybe my last.

Recently I've thought about getting a new car, but I have a hard time justifying the car payments and increased insurance rates, when there's absolutely nothing wrong with my current ride.
Like Kelli-Jo's, ours is not very exciting. Sheba is a 1989 Toyota Corolla, white. She has about 305,000 kilometres, gets decent gas mileage, has been easyeasy on maintenance, and is still running the original clutch. Hard to part with a reliable ol' girl like that. When it comes time, though, we're thinking Prius.

I drove a 95 Ford Escort for 8 years before getting my truck!
I got a truck because when I looked at how many miles I put on my car, it came out to about 6000/yr! So gas isn't a huge issue for me. For work during field season, I used a fleet vehicle which I drove about 500-1000miles/week. (Gas was paid for.)

At home, boyfriend drives us on dates and errands. I'll probably be doing more driving now that I've got something a bit more reliable. One time, my car door was smashed in by a shopping cart and I couldn't open it. I was afraid of getting into an accident because I surely would have been smooshed!

I do plan to make use of the bed, and go camping, and have all sorts of fun adventures!

1998 Ranger XLT 4x4 extended cab.
3L v6 and it pulls my 28ft travel trailer just fine.
She's a good little truck, and even at 11 years old still gets 16/23mpg.
