So I'm not the only one that names their vehicles eh
I bought the Montana because my sister loved hers. unfortunately I think mine is a lemon. I have had a lot of problems. molding falling off. faulty steering column. faulty brake rotar. The best one
my 17 yr old daughters seat came unlocked and broke when we were on holidays. Thank god we weren't in an accident. Now I have a fault solinoid? which is sometimes not allowing me to put my van in gear. eventually ti will fail. So I need to take it in again. I also sometimes have problem with my transmission, it shifts really hard into first gear. It has more rattles than my 1995 ford contour, I was driving. Dh bought me the van because he thought the contour was too unrealiable

Nothing too fancy for DH and I. I drive a black 2000 Camero and DH has a dark grey 2004 Ram1500 quad cab. His truck is currently at the dealership getting fix, again, for a transmission leak. He's currently driving a Pontiac Torrent loaner - it's such an ugly little SUV.

Currently I drive a 2006 Nissan Maxima but that will be changing as the lease is up. Have never taken pictures, probably cause I don't really consider it "mine". Don't know where I'll go from here but I seriously doubt it will be a lease again. Hubby has a 2007 Nissan truck but I can't really say he "drives" it, it's more like it just takes up space in the garage, he is real stingy about driving it
Of course he has a company car so he doesn't have to

My hubby and I are car nuts, so we've had lots and lots of them over the years. Currently, we're down to two.

This is our '81 Buick Century. We found it on Craigslist for $400....it was a one-owner car with only 114,000 miles. Definitely a lucky find! We want to restore it eventually, just can't right now without garage space, so it's just something we enjoy and drive. My son gets the biggest kick out of it.

My grocery-getter/kiddie-mobile is a '94 Caravan. It's older, but it's been nothing but reliable for the 4 years I've had it. It was a Florida van all of its life....but I dragged it up here to show it snow; which oddly, it's very good in.

Between my hubby and I, we've had over 10 Chevy Monte Carlos (all early 80's); that was the car that caused us to meet in the first place. I'd love to have another one, but I just don't have the room for an extra car.
Our last "play" car was a '74 Plymouth Satellite that we had to sell before moving back to NY...somewhere I've got pictures of that one, too.

Our car is a 1997 VW golf. It's ugly but its diesel so it goes far and it was basically free. We used to have a 1993 (or 1994 I forget) VW Jetta but it was a piece of junk so my fiances dad gave us his car and we just had to give him $600 for 2 new tires on his truck.

I don't have a picture of it yet because we just got it last week.

This is my 1990 AWD Eagle Talon race car. It has 58,000 original miles on it and runs 10's in the 1/4 mile at the dragstrip

I have a 2004 Dodge Stratus in Sapphire Pearl. It's a great car, and in just over 5 years since we bought it new it JUST had the first thing go wrong, and it's a tiny thing. The dial to change the speed of the ac/heat went spaztic and the first levels don't work. That will only be about $12 to fix, though.

My husband just bought a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, 60th Anniversary Trail Rated edition. It is grey, not sure of the exact color name, though. It's very pretty and completely loaded, V8, still smells like new leather and very clean. It rides like a brand new jeep also. He only paid $5357 also!!
Awesome find! The only problems with it is that the door that adjusts and lets the heat through on the passenger side duel zone doesn't open so it only lets ac out. We just taped the vents closed for now and it gets plenty hot in there. The motor or something on the passenger side window went out also so you can't roll it down, but I don't like to roll my window down anyway.
Everything is fixable, and no big deal.
It lived its whole life in Nevada so it was never exposed to salt and looked brand new underneath. No rust at all.

I am currently driving The Land Barge aka my mother's 2001 Buick Park Avenue. Do you really want to see it? Nothing to write home about...it's big; it's beige; it's boring; it's paid for.

Sold off my 1998 Honda Accord just a few months ago. Interestingly enough, the woman who bought it off of craigslist lives just a few streets from me!

I have named cars in the past. My first purchased car was a very basic, five-on-the-floor Toyota Corolla in 1981. I named it "Baby T" after a line in a funk song I heard on the radio.

I've had three cars in my three years of driving.

A 1997 Toyota Cavalier, 1997 Ford Taurus (Can you tell I like American cars - the Cavalier would be a Chevy in the US)

And I'm currently driving 1992 Toyota Corolla FX-GT. I like my cars to have a bit of ooomph!

The Land Barge?
that's great

I have a 2004 Chrysler Sebring, Dark Sapphire, although blue is the last color I'd use to describe it, it looks like a really dark purple, but not purple if that makes sense
I have no pics though. I bought it brand new and drove off the lot with 7 miles on it in April 2004, now, in Jan 2009 it has over 120,000! must be all those cat pick-ups

It's been a good car, I've got to get a bit of work done on it right now, hub bearing, tie-rod and my tailpipe is melting my bumper due to a broken slip joint
, but as long as the engine holds on, or more specifically, the tranny since Chryslers are known for tranny probs, I'll keep it for another 2 years

Suzuki Grand Vitera v6. White (icky!), 2000... my newest car ever! And the first one that's MINE (ie: not my father's!) She's nothing fancy, but she's reliable!

Here she is:

I call her my Piggy. Not because of the 'gas' thing (which admittedly was a shock after driving a 30 mpg '89 Honda...) but because her nose looks a little like a piggy.

I currently drive a 95 1/2 Nissan Sentra GXE. I will get pictures of her sometime she just got fixed up last week. I have had her for 5 years and I've yet to name her... hmm that should change.

But my BF has 2 toys
his main drive is a 99 Kia Sephia that has recently had a new engine installed but he has been focusing more on Autocrossing and less on showing her. The pic is from when he won first place at NOPI Nationals in Atlanta in the Kia class. But right now its flat black
I miss the prettier paint! And also the carbon fiber hood was smashed.. the hood flew up at 55 mph..yeah that sucked

His other toy is a 1979 MG B. Also known as Mean Green or the Green Car LOL. He got it in October and hasnt done much work to it yet besides fix the top and the head rest. But hopefully it will get some fresh paint and some restoration in the spring! Cant wait to cruise in her this summer!

My current, practical ride is a 2006 Toyota Matrix. It's basically a Corolla hatchback.

I've had:

1974 Chevy Nova
1976 Buick Century
1980 Toyota Corolla hatchback
1986 Toyota MR2 (that was my baby)
1994 Toyota Corolla (it died in a roll over at a tender age)
1994 Mercury Sable (I hated this car)
1995 Jeep Cherokee
2000 Volvo S80

My Toyota 4X4 Truck, which took me 5 years to pay off. Of course, now I don't need a four-wheel drive, since moving to Texas.
But it sure came in handy in Wisconsin!

I can't drive it anymore now, b/c all that Wisconsin road salt ate the frame.
And it's also too difficult for me to drive now, due to my back situation, b/c it's a standard tranny.
I sure do miss driving it: I love my truck!

My next vehicle is gonna be a Mustang!!
