I just rescued 3 kittens yesterday. They've been here almost 24 hours. I think they're around 8 weeks old. They were prematurely weened from their mother and only fed human table scraps! Anyway, yesterday was their first taste of real cat food, and they did well with it.
Last night I noticed that one had very very pale yellow stool. It's very chalk-like. The consistency is normal. I've had many cats and kittens in my time, but I've never seen this shade. The other kittens' stool appears "normal."
So, is this light stool normal? What do you think is causing it? Someone said it's probably the food they were fed before, but I find it odd that it's only coming from one.
