Call the vet.
I just had to take my kitten to the er yesterday for a cold because she is wheezing and gagging.
Your cat might need meds.

I agree. And since she got sick from your other cat it should be going to the vet, too.

Kizzy (my cat) had a 'cold' (URI) when I first got him.

A course of vet prescribed antibiotics cleared it up really fast

It is definately not something I would want to mess with as I've read colds can lead to pnemonia which can lead to permanent damage or death.

Good luck with your cats.

Hennessy has a URI right now... he's on meds from the vet to fix him up.

Luckily, he's a very good kitty and is taking his pills with minimal fuss.

I have to agree with the others a vet trip is in order. Certain illnesses, such as Feline Herpes, are common in cats and require medication when they flare up. My Jordan has Feline Herpes. When he has a flare up he requires antibiotics, sub-q fluids & usually must be force fed. His vet has told me to give him L-Lysine to prevent flare ups & help him get over flare ups faster when they happen. I hope your kitty is better soon.
