One of the possible side effects of him being on the Interferon treatment for his FIP is diarrhea & nausea.
He's been pooping all day, and threw up once, too.
It wouldn't be so bad if he didn't have such long fur: he ends up getting most of the mess stuck to his butt, and I have to clean him up.
Not much fun, but what are you gonna do?

I don't know why the Interferon affects him like that: Geronimo is on it too, and never has any problems.

I feel so bad for him.

Thanks, Pami.
I'll do that. I hate to see him feeling so poorly.

Whenever Blossom has a bout of diarrhea I trim the hair around her bottom. She screams & hisses if I have to clean it up. By trimming the hair, no problems.

Winchester's actually pretty good about it, and I think he's actually "grateful" that I'm trying to help him out. I don't imagine it's a joy for him to have to clean it himself..

I've been thinking about trimming the fur on his hindend, but that's a task that definitely requires more than one person. I'm gonna have to tackle that when my s/o's around and willing to help.
