Breeder emailed me pics this morning. Here's my boy - he's looking really good and taking after his dad IMO. He should grand in CFA and ACFA with little problems.

But he looks like he's gonna be Charlie's size (11-12 lbs) when grown. A good wrestling buddy in the making.

Not till in March cause he has to be shipped to Minnesota. His breeder will show in in February for me at 4 months old.

He looks very nice Martice. I know very little about Oci's. What are his finer points in regards to the photos you posted? Please educate me.

Nial - basically you want a good contrast between the base color and the spots (btw the spots are formed on the surface of the coat. When you flip the coat back they look like the ticking of an Aby)

The spots should form a sorta bullseye pattern on the sides about in the middle toward the back. Head should be slightly long, muzzle strong and squarish - not a pointed like a Siamese. Ears are tall and should be set at a 45 degree angle. You want width between the ears but the ears still have to be 45 degrees. Eyes almond shaped. And broken necklaces in front.

He has a good tight body, good muscle and balance on the head. Charlie's ears are a little taller but if you compare the picture of Charlie in my signature, you can see Jack will have a lot better ear set.

His dad has excellent contrast (dad is a cinnamon) and he really looks a lot like dad.

BTW have you contacted Sonja yet for your Oci?

So he's the cinnamon silver Oci? I know you were wavering between two male kittens...

Lovely Boy! I can't wait to hear the future show reports

I was checking out Oci photos earlier today to pick up the finer points of Cinnamon/Fawn. I was wondering which boy would be Jack!

Addie - actually he's a cinnamon. His brother is a cinnamon-silver; the base coat is much whiter.

Ferris - Fawn is a totally different color, more of a cream/brownish shade.

If you match up the dominate/dilute colors you get:

Tawny; dilute is Blue
Chocolate; dilute is Fawn
Cinnamon; dilute is Lavender
