My new male kitten is trying to get milk from my one year old spayed female. He sucks on her little nipples and kneads her stomach as if he is getting milk. She lets him do this and cleans him all the time. Could he be getting milk? Does he think she is his mom? Does she think he is her baby? It is weird when they are not doing this she is chasing him all around the house and pinning him to the ground and biting him until he cries or until I seperate them. Does anyone know what might be going on here?

He is doing this for the nurturing, warmth, and security it gives. Since she was not pregnant, she will not produce milk.

My male scaredy cat did this with his mom up until he was 4 or 5 years old!!!! It was a hoot to watch this massive cat nursing his elderly mom! He would slurp and kneed and purr so loud you could hear it in the other room!
The mom finally got sick of it an now bops him on the head any time he comes near her. (They are part of a family of feral cats I rescued 8 years ago.)

Yes, looks like he is recreating some babyhood experiences. There's no harm in that and it may help them bond. I would say, let them be - whether fighting or nursing - it's their way of determining hirearchy. As long as they're not seriously fighting (and in danger of hurting each other), it's best not to interfere really.
