Hi,
I have been "eyeing" this beautiful boy for a while... He is a rescue from the same lady I got Lucky. Lucky has spent some time with him at her foster house, and they got along fine.
I am going to start my new job now next week, and will be traveling often; while I do have a wonderful person to come in and play with her 2x/day, I would love to not leave her alone... I hate to think she is lonely...

Anyway, what do you all think? Please give me your opinion on what is going to be better for her. I know that It's great to save another life, and I don't want to be selfish... but she is my princess and my first priority...

here is his bio:

you'll find most of us will say get him

but they probably won't remember each other - you'll need to do introductions as if he were a 'stranger' cat.
that said - he is a beauty!

Wow! He's stunning! If you have the means to adopt and support him and if you think Lucky would like the company, I'd say go for it!

Blue-eyed white cat... he's not deaf is he? I don't know about the Ragdoll breed....

I find my boys keep each other company very well when I am away or working long hours. But then again the reason I got Mulder was because Spooky was acting lonely and depressed. My
Libbi on the other hand hated all other cats and would have been much happier in a single cat home, no matter how much time the human was gone. You know Lucky best.

If you think about it and decide Lucky would benefit from another cat (do not confuse this with you wanting another cat...) it is good to know that Lucky and this new male both can tolerate/get along with other cats as evidenced in their time in foster care. I would still say to do the slow introductions as your home is now Lucky's territory, and she will likely feel the need to defend it.

He is a very pretty boy, I would have a hard time thinking rationally about bringing him home!

I think Lucky would enjoy having another kitty to keep her company, especially since you'll be traveling. I've had a 'princess' myself, and she loved playing with the other cats. (you know you want him)

He is gorgeous... but honestly, I would wait before adopting another kitty... till you are settled in with the job, moved, etc.

I think it would be awful hard on the new kitty to just move in, and then you move, you are away for work, etc.

I'd hold off untill you moved anyways... gives you time to get everything in order, get Lucky's ringworm out of the questions, etc.

I'm sold!

However - solid white kitties with blue eyes are often deaf. I've found my 2 deaf cats don't relate well to hearing ones, not making them the best playmates (they sometimes think they are being attacked & retaliate).

No, not confusing with me wanting another cat... this is really a gift for Lucky, so she is not lonely when I travel... I travel somewhat often for my job, and she has grown so attached to me, that I absolutely hate the thought of living her alone and bored

I decided........................ Yep, I am getting him... He is on hold for me now; I should bring him home mid January!!

He is 3 years old, and very sweet and mellow - a bit shy, which is good; I don't want to bring an alpha cat home to take Lucky's queendom - I want him to be her prince... her sweet prince... They are both ragdolls, so they share some loving personality traits...
I work from home, so I will have lots of time to give both of them attention, and make sure the introduction goes smoothly...
I am excited for Lucky!!!

That is how I looked at getting Mulder, as a gift for Spooky. When I introduced them I said "Ok Spooky, here's your kitten. Be nice to him" and they've been best buddies ever since.

Congrats on deciding to get him. I'm sure we'll see lots of pictures soon!

Awwwwwww, congrats Carolina

I can't wait to see all the pics once you get him.

I'm soooo jealous. I would love to get another kitty to play with Kizzy, but it is not going to happen
