Tonight we're having a free dinner!
got an invite to a local restaurant for some conference thingy. We have to sit through the speeches, but hey - free steak!

Hey, let me know when you're coming and I'll throw an extra stone in the pot.

Fast supper tonight: omelettes.

My boyfriend picked out a recipe to try for tonight. It's vegetarian "chik'n" strips with artichokes and such, over couscous. The things he picks are usually pretty darn tasty!

I think i'm gonna eat the left over roast from a couple nights ago. I left it for my fiance to eat when he got home from class, but I think I'm gonna eat it cause he never did.

Tonight I've got work until 1AM but I might cook up a steak with some fresh tomatoes and mushrooms before I start so I've got something in my belly

No kidding, there's been a lot of pot roast going around the last few days.

I don't know what I'm going to eat, my stomach has been leaving me feeling rough all day. Maybe a nice salad or something else light.

I had a chicken caesar salad my parents got it from three bears (like costco)
and I love their salads.
Their dressing is so yummy.
and fast break reeses peanut butter bars for dessert. They are the reeses peanut butter cups but they're in a bar and not a cup.

Did you share with Jack and the girls? Bijou always has to have a taste of whatever meat I cook. He loves being on the table but as soon as I wash it off and put the lazy susan on he seems to know he isn't allowed up there when we eat. He sits beside John's chair and quietly waits for John to cut up some meat for him. I even have to put a small plate out when I set the table just for Bijou's food.

That sounds yummy, what did you put in it? I love my slow cooker. I'm just too paranoid to use it except on the weekends when I'm home to watch it.

I was at the oral surgeon wednesday, so I've had only soft mushy stuff
Probably the same again today.

I made baked scallops, roasted broccoli and spinach last night. We'll have leftovers of that tonight.

Threw a package of frozen stew veggies and a cross cut rump roast in the crockpot this morning. My son has a horse show he has to be at at 5 p.m., so I wanted something he could eat before he went. (Since I work til 5.)

Unfortunately, it is Friday. What a loser I am. Doh. Hopefully he won't go to He** for eating meat today.

Well, not totally sure, but I'm aiming for veal. We don't do veal when the kids are with us, since it's one of the few things Jr's SO doesn't care for, but they are in Thailand, so we can have a fix.
If I don't see nice veal, we're also due for some lamb chops...we'll see.

Either way, probably nugget potatoes and a green veg -- whatever's nice. Haven't thought at all about dessert.
