Does anyone else get

the after Christmas Day blues? I always feel so let down after Christmas Day is over, I guess because I'm always looking forward to it. And honestly, New Year's is NOT a favorite holiday of mine. Oh, I enjoy watching the ball drop and having a glass of champagne, but then I think, "Is that it?" Maybe if there were someway of telling the new year from the old.

I do to a certain extent, I think it has to do with all the hype leading up to the holiday and then all of sudden it's over. The end of the Christmas season also means that that's pretty much it celebration wish until Easter. Plus the fact winter has hit us really early and really hard here and it's difficult not to have that voice in the back of your mind whispering " It's a long until spring"
