Keller has been following me around the house the last 2 days making little noises, she is usually fairly quite. She is very affectionate and rubbing her face on everything and everyone. She also threw up in the kitchen this evening. I wondered if that has anything to do with coming back in heat or the new wet food we tried?

We only have 3 weeks until she can get fixed

Cats do not go into heat during certain times of the year. If she is old enough to be in heat & not spayed - chances are that she will be in heat soon if not already again. (The joys of an unspayed female cat, right?
) The puking could well be due to the wet food more than anything.

I know you've said why before - but is there any reason you can't get her appt bumped up to be spayed sooner?

The vet wanted to give her time to recover, the ringworm meds did a number on her system and then she had two pretty bad URIs back to back. He wanted her to be healthy for a month before putting her under. I can call and see if they can move it up to right after this cycle but she shouldn't have time to come back in again if she is in heat now...right?

I will see what the vet thinks. She seems to be pretty peaceful this morning, no pacing around.
