As you may be able to tell by this picture..

Yes, he spent about 5 hours under my bed where it was nice and safe away from all the strangers. Being that he is indoors, and my relatives like to not close doors properly, and i have a terror for a 4 year old cousin, i put the food and litter temporarily in my bedroom, make sure all the nice comfy blankets were on my bed...and he went *voom* straight under
Needless to say, it took some bribing with some yummy wet turkey food to get him out once everyone had left.

Not an impressed look, is it?

At the kitty's beck and call
Awww poor little guy - nope he wasn't impressed.

We had MIL staying for two days and the indoor babies were not impressed. They love people and enjoy being made a fuss of, but they like visitors to come, fuss them, and then leave in a relatively short space of time. Anything else just messes with their sleep/eat/wash routine and takes up their normal sleeping places. They retired to my bed and pretty much stayed there until they had the house to themselves again
