I did.....I felt like she was being neglected for the 3 months we had her. We didnt end up having the time/money to get her broke, she was alone all day and we couldnt afford another horse for her so....

She now has over 150 acres to roam on and a horse friend
She is going to be sooo spoiled in her new home!!
The people we sold her to also do a dog rescue
they are animal lovers thru and thru

I can also call and go visit whenever I want!!

So while I am sad, I know deep-deep down it was for the better.....

Over the river and through the woods...
Awww honey, I'm sorry
. I know it's hard but sometimes we have to do what's best for our animals. I would LOVE to get a horse and for once in my life I actually have the land and barn and everything....I just don't have the time. I'm sure she'll be happy in her new home. Horses are very social creatures and I'm sure she just loves her new friend! At least you can still visit her and it sounds like she went to a great home.

You def did the best thing for her. Horses are herd animals, I really dont think its fair to keep them alone. I bet she's loving her new home and horsey friend. And thats fantastic that you can go and visit her whenever you want too!

Awww that's too bad. But I'm so glad she's going to a good home that will love her! You made the right decision though. Horses are very social creatures and will develop horrible habits if left alone with out a pasture mate. We know you loved her, but she'll be happy as can be in her new home, she probably thanks you for the great big pasture! You would need a helicopter and a tranq gun if she ever didn't want to be caught!

That is too bad you had to make that decision, but you know it was the right one. I had to do the same for my horse. When I got him he was in real bad shape, covered in rain rott, thrush in all 4 feet, and about 3-400lbs under weight. after about 2 years of getting the weight on and getting the rain rott cleared up and trying to get the trush under cotrol, I decided he needed more then I could do for him. I couldn't get one hoof better no matter how hard I tried, and do to the town "fixing" the road and making a ditch all the rain ran off into our pasture and he was always sunk up to his knees in mud all that mud and wetness was never going to let that hoof heal so I had to do what was best for him no matter how much it hurt me to see him go.
So don't feel bad, it was what was best for your horse
