From what I've read, Super Paper Mario is a completely different game than Paper Mario for the Gamecube. Same characters and premise, but different storyline and challenges. The 2-D to 3-D interchangability is fun.

Interesting point about the rechargable batteries....I don't have those at this point...I find plain old batteries are lasting a while, so I'm going to stick with that for a while.

I love Mario, so hopefully, when I get this, I will love this, too.

I picked up Wii play and mom and sis and i enjoyed the cow racing but its a pain that the other games have to be played with first.
I rented one I cannot think of the name-it had shuffleboard, darts, skee ball, a basketball games and air hockey. That wasn't too bad.

Rayman Rabbits I also rented that one was a challenge!!

For Christmas I got Luxor and Rubics Cube ones but haven't really played much yet.

Today I bought a used one at gamestop-Galaxies an arcade style game.

There is supposed to be a Solitaire/Mahjongg game coming this spring.

I would like to find more puzzle/thinking type of games.

One of the guys at gamestop said to check out www.ign.com for game reviews.

We rented Boom Blox and then had to buy it. It's kinda like a puzzle game in that you have to figure out where to throw, and how hard, but then you still have to throw with the Wii-Mote. And you get to unlock characters and build your own challenges and stuff too. It's really fun!

I'm so glad to see this thread! We have a Wii on the way to us so I'm looking for games too.

We already ordered Wii Music and Super Paper Mario. I know I want to try the Wii Fit and MarioKarts. Also Mario and Sonic at the Olympics. I think DH would like the Outdoor Adventure one from what everyone has said here!!

Added title for this list: Trauma Center - I'm playing "New Blood" (the second TC for the Wii) right now and it is extremely addictive! It is far from realistic, but I am so frustrated with skin grafts right now, it's not even funny!

For those who are skweamish, it's not at all gory...so far anyway.

Oooo I looked at this game when we were first getting our Wii, and it looked interesting. I played an ER type game on the computer, so this one looked cool. I'll have to look into it!

^Rent it first, or maybe try buying a used copy. DH played it several months ago and wasn't too impressed by it.

Yeah, I rarely ever buy games new, unless I've tried them first, or unless they're cheap. We just bought a trivia game that's pretty fun, and was only $17 (for us). Maybe I'll have to see if I can rent it somewhere.

The Wall Street Journal mentioned that there will be another Wii Sports game out this year called either Wii Sports Resort or Wii Resort Sports. Anyhow it will include water skiing and fencing-that could be fun!!

Yup! And it should come with an attachment for the Wii remote that allows it to pick up on the more subtle movements of the remote (ie. wrist movements).

So far it has had pretty good reviews: http://wii.ign.com/objects/142/14266992.html
