We're going to my moms to visit, since my sis is down from another province... afterwards one of my neighbours is having a houseparty. It all depends on how long we stay at mom's and how we feel.

We're not huge partiers, nor do we always stay up to ring in the new year. It's just another day.

Not sure what we're going to end up doing. We have been invited to a few different things. One is a party at a friend's house, but his wife is SOOOO irritating that we might bow out. We'll have to see who else will be there.

My kids and I are going to a friends house in Albuquerque, we live thirty minutes south of Albuquerque, for a New Years party. We are going to stay the night and go home early on New Years day.

I've told everyone that i'm staying in this year. I'm fed up of standing in the cold waiting for bagpipes to play in the new year, or worse still having to go out early so as to grab some seats in a bar

It's all a big hype for new year now, so i'll be ringing friends and clinking my glass of champagne with them over the phone

So far no plans. Sometimes we end up at my parents place or at my brother's, but nothing in the works so far. At this rate, we'll hang out at home, game a bit and have toast in the new year with just us and the cats. That's what we do most years and it's pretty popular.

Happy Birthday! Great about the rooms! Happy tax deduction for your parents!

We are going for a late dinner at the restaurant where we spent last New Year's Eve. It is 10 minutes from where we live, has great food, and the New Year's celebration is just perfect - not to much, not to little.

DH always works so I doubt we'll be up together. They do have a gathering planned at the church (games, food and music); but with DH always being tired, we never go.

New Years day we will have a casual dinner at my Mother's. We usually do a make your own sandwich platter and then mix up some dips and things and just relax together.

No plans--I really don't like New Year's; I find it kind of sad. I think about all of the things I didn't accomplish in the previous year. We usually just go to bed early, and then marvel at the superior firepower that the neighbors have (They sometimes shoot guns. Last year, it sounded as if someone was shooting an assault rifle of some type! Seriously! Note to self: be nice to our neighbors...God only knows what's in their gun racks!))

Not really, we're just going to hang out with the furkids.
I may watch the ball drop on tv though.
