I read the Dewey book--it's nice. They are going to make a movie of it soon, I hear. Isn't his pic on the cover sooo cute? Just love Dewey's expression--what a sweetie he must have been.

I think that you probably got the best gift of all.

my brother [born in January] was named Noel Michael [Christmas Messenger] - what about Noelle Michelle, the feminine version? or just Noelle? Navidad? Kalikimaka? Natalizie? Natal? Jul? [all of these are 'Christmas' in other languages, btw].

Back from the inlaws ") We draw names, so that we don't have to buy for everyone.

I got:
The Photoshop CS3 Bible (love that book, have it on Ebook, but prefer the paper copy)
A Dean Koontz book
Another Wenbkinz. Yep, serious Webkinz addict.

My hubby got a mp3 player that he wanted.

My kids of course were spoiled rotten as per normal.... Big highlight of their gifts, we got Wii Outdoor Life Challenge... (it was a game I suggested...I'm looking forward to playing it).

Best of all, everyone was in a good mood.

I am so thankful.... this has been the best xmas I've had in a long time.

Seriously, your gifts sound very nice, indeed! I love soft, warm lougewear and robes (and so do the cats, who jump on them as soon as I lay the clothes down somewhere).
I am giving jewelry instead.
When you can make your own folks get a little intimidated at trying to find what you don't have and also like.

Auntie also gave me a sherpa fleece lounge gown and two items are on back order. (Knit gown and fleece jacket.)

Spent the day with Sis and she gave me some household paper products and a 3 lb bag of M&Ms - holiday plain.

Tomorrow we exchange with niece and nephew and their families.

It's easy Fran. You just need to put your photos on a memory card and stick it in, that's how mine works but it comes with an instruction manual

Yes, it looks like Dewey will be a good book, and I had heard something about the book being made into a movie. Yes, Dewey looks very sweet on the cover, don't you wish you could have met him?
