Santa was good to me

I got 3 new Webkinz (yes, I am 31yrs old), a nice lingerie overcoat and a heavy warm bathrobe for getting in and out of the hottub. I am very happy with my pressies

I got my hubby, a nice warm bathrobe too (we just got the hottub this year), a collectors dragon from the Hamilton Collection, and another dragon statue. He and I both love "fantasy". Him more the dragons, me more the fairies, unicorns, pegasus.

I can't wait to try out my robe
Hubby will have to wait, I didn't understand the sizing right, and you could fit 2-3 people in the robe
So it will be returned and I've already ordered another in a different size.

My daughter is quite thrilled with her gifts. She got some Bratz, Little Pet Shop stuff, CD player, game for her DS, pj's, a puzzle, CD and 3 Webkinz too.

The best present tho, I'm in a good mood
Normally I'm not.... My pain level is quite high today and the meds aren't cutting it.... but this Christmas has been the best I've had in a while. So that is the greatest gift, not only to myself, but my family as well.

My siblings and I don't exchange gifts anymore. We are good to each other all 365 days of the year. Tho' my brother did offer to get me a really good scanner... it hasn't showed up yet and I am not going to push. Same goes for Mom... really, there is nothing I can GET for her so I DO for her... This morning I made a special brekkie - scrambled eggs and these yummy smoked chicken sausages, bagels and cream cheese.. and I chased her out of the kitchie so I could do the dishes.

I got my boyfriend a funny coffee mug (Real Men Like Cats!), the Martin Scorcese DVD doc on the Rolling Stones and mom and I went in on a beautiful urn and display box for his RB cat's ashes.

He got me an external hard drive for my computer - Half a TB for a hundred bucks! (I went with him to pick)... and I WILL be getting a cherry amber pendant. I can't decide which one I like best... I have like 20 different designs bookmarked! Sheesh! And a silver omega to wear it on. (maybe I will have you guys help me decide!)

One of my dear girlfriends got me a great purse - I like a cross-body style - at Macy's. It's absolutely perfect. I had said "no gifts" but of course, Christina wasn't listening to me!

We didn't buy gifts this year. We decided to go save a cats life from the shelter on Christmas eve!!

She is home now and my house has been hissy. She is a little sweetheart. She came to us with the name of Ace but she doesn't know her name. I think the shelter named her. What my new little cat needs is a name for Christmas!!!

My sisters has the gifts from my brother and girlfriend but she has to go to work as soon as gets back.

SS presents of course! Lots of CD's from DH, new PJ's, a couple of jigsaw puzzles (I'm addicted to them) and a cool purple sweater.

And the big score: a very cool beaded necklace with a large cat head for the primary bead. I'll post a picture of it later. I'm wearing it right now over to the neighbors for dinner.

But I hear that the "big" present from DH got delayed at the Portland airport yesterday. We were expecting a UPS delivery and they sent us an e-mail late in the day that it wasn't coming until Friday. Did you hear about the accident at that airport yesterday? The fumes from de-icing a plane got into that plane and they had to hospitalize a lot of people. I watched it on the news yesterday, never realizing that that plane would cause our Christmas to be delayed.

How about Eve, then? Or Eva!? Evie? Chrissy? Christy? Beth for Bethlehem? Merry? Holly? Settia for Pointsettia? One of Santa's reindeer? Obviously thinking holiday-themed names here? Lily - but that is more of an Easter thing - but you are giving her a second chance at life, right?

Some of the holiday gifts I got for people came from the Animal Rescue site and purchases buy food for animals in shelters.

I got some beautiful opal earrings from my s/o, and also a matching simulated diamond necklace & earrings set (who can afford real ones?
).

My mom got me a amethyst crystal rock, and a box of good Wisconsin cheese & smoked meat.

My son didn't get me anything, but I told him not to b/c he spends enough money every year when he comes to visit. That's enough gift for me.

From some friends I got a bracelet, kitty socks, a GB Packers musical ornament (which I couldn't hang on the tree b/c we didn't have one this year due to too many kitten shenanigans!
), a vanilla/orange candle, chocolates, and a pretty crystal oil candle.

I'm still waiting to see what I'm getting from my TCS SS!
