I lost my beloved best friend BJ two months ago today. This is the first Christmas in 19 years that he won't be here. Rest in peace BJ
I miss you!

Condolences on losing Bijou. He was such a beautiful, blue kitty
I am sure that he and Seymour are enjoying scampering about Heaven with our other TCS rb kitties
I lost my brother in 1993 in Oct. and my beloved Miss Tobie in November '04 - the losses closest to the holidays can be esp. rough.
Were there any traditions that you used to share with your boys?
Sending you prayers and vibes for comfort and healing

Thanks for your comments. It's been rough without him. BJ loved holidays, especially Christmas and Easter. I think he enjoyed the wrapping paper even more than his presents. After he ate some cat treats, rolled around in the catnip for a while and finished opening all his gifts, he'd fall sound asleep on the paper on the floor. Seymour did the same. They were always best buds. Having little Toby around keeps me busy so it makes things a little less sad, but I had BJ since I was a kid and it just seems strange not seeing his sweet little face all the time. He was such a good boy.

Awww....I'll bet that' s just what they were doing last night, on the other side of RB, in addition to getting cuddles & scritches from all the little people angels, of course

I'm glad that you have little Toby to treasure now
