my kitty's poopy butt!

so my kitten used to be really good with the toilet training and cleaning herself off, but lately i've noticed she hasn't been cleaning her bottom! sometimes it's like she's tried to rush through doing her poopy because some is still hanging out.

it results in me having to wipe her which she HATES, but she's not getting any normal. why would she start doing this all of a sudden?

and even when her bottom is clean it smells pooey! what to do?

She needs to be seen by the vet. Any behavior that a cat suddenly starts to do, like this, needs to be looked at by her vet. It certainly sounds like something is going on, but only a vet will be able to tell you for sure what it is.

i asked while i was at the vet the other day and she said "she's just being a lazy kitten" - but she never used to be like this? and i'm worried now because she doesn't struggle at all when i clean her! i don't want to have to do it forever!!
