I guess that'll teach me to play on sites I know nothing about!
which one did you bid on, & how soon is the bid ending?
when i got mine on ebay, for a time i had 2 bids going [only wanted ONE tree] but was luckily outbid on both.

More times than not, the fall is either fatal or causes severe injury to the cat. It is a myth that a cat will always land on their feet. We have several members on this site, who have lost their cat to a much much shorter fall.

I bid on the same one you have actually but than I started looking at the other trees & saw one I like better because it had the little kitty hammock on it, lol...I don't think Ginger would fit in it, she's a little chubby but Pepe would like it, she's a baby & likes small spaces! I got an email from the seller & luckily they cancelled the bid! I didnt realize how expensive shipping was too!

you have to factor in shipping when deciding on your bid. i ended up paying $20 for the eBay tree, plus $51 in shipping.
if you order directly from Armarkat, shipping is usually free to the U.S. i saw the tree i just ordered on eBay for $80 shipping [plus whatever the bid is] & on Armarkat it was $109 with free shipping - plus i could use a credit card instead of PayPal

oh wow the 3rd one is a little unusual, do the cats like that one (the one with the wood)? I like the design though, it is definitely unique!

don't have one like that - just thought it was cool-looking. i'd think some cats would like it fine, tho.

My cats spent a lot of time on the top of my 6' tall bookcases even when they were just 4-5 months old. I figured a cat tree any shorter than that would basically be ignored, so I got one that is 6'2". They love it. They even stay off the bookcases---most of the time---now. I don't really worry about them falling off since there are several levels to catch them. I have it set in a corner so the top platform doesn't have a straight fall to the floor. I did worry about them falling off the bookcases, especially when Miss Patchwillow decided that was the only place she was going to chase her tail.
