But it appears Santa's reindeer (yes, even Rudolph) are female. The males lose their antlers at the beginning of winter, but the females keep theirs until early spring.

i already knew it - c'mon, those names aren't exactly MACHO, now, are they?
Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid [ok, that one was at least male-ish], Donner, Blitzen?
altho Rudoph is a tradionally male name... maybe he's a Klinefelter reindeer?
